4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellations must be notified in writing.
• More than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date:
Full refund of all amounts paid, less applicable bank charges.
• Between 30 and 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date:
Refund of 50% of the amounts paid, less applicable bank charges.
• Less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date:
No refund will be granted.
5. Force Majeure / Extraordinary Circumstances Policy
The following events shall be considered extraordinary circumstances only if they:
• occur after the booking has been confirmed,
• directly affect the geographical area of the reservation, and
• legally or physically prevent the stay from being completed.
Covered events include:
• Declared public health emergencies (epidemics, pandemics officially recognized by authorities).
COVID-19 is not covered under this policy.
• Mandatory governmental travel restrictions (official lockdowns, evacuation orders, legal travel bans).
• Military operations and armed conflicts (war, terrorism, invasions, civil unrest, riots, insurrections).
• Large-scale failure of essential services (water, electricity, heating) affecting the majority of accommodations in the area.
• Unpredictable natural disasters and extreme weather events (earthquakes, tsunamis, exceptional violent storms).
6. Events Not Covered
The following situations are not considered force majeure and remain subject to the standard cancellation policy:
• Personal illness, injury, or medical condition of the guest.
• Administrative or legal obligations (jury duty, court appearance, etc.).
• Non-mandatory travel advisories or recommendations.
• Cancellation or rescheduling of a personal event.
• Transportation disruptions (flight cancellations, airline bankruptcy, strikes, road closures).
• Predictable seasonal weather conditions typical of the destination, unless such conditions result in an officially declared covered event that legally prevents travel.
