Where we came up with the name

When we first touched the ground and learned how they call the beautiful trees around us, we knew straight away that the name BELALU (pronounced by the local people as Blalu) was the name we were looking for.

Belalu is the local name for one of the most commonly used trees for wood carving in Bali. It holds the official title as “the fastest growing tree in the world”, reaching a staggering 130 feet tall in just few years. Belalu Bali Boutique & Spa experience is built in harmony with the Mother nature and the almighty Belalu trees in the area.
